My Journey

Hi, my name is Denise Paynter and I am Earth Mother Holistic Therapy. Welcome to my site, I do hope you find what you are looking for, but please do message me with any queries or questions.

I have been drawn to Holistic Therapies throughout my life but have only in the last 10 years followed that dream. With a growing family, I have 4 children and now 2 grandchildren, my time was needed by them, and still is.

I worked as a Registered Nurse through most of my working life and this has helped to compliment the therapies that I offer.

Reiki was my first leap and do you know what... I didn't 'get' it. As relaxing as it was on those days, I was left a bit confused. My training in Crystal healing, which was totally random but left me, the end of my years training convinced that I would at some point be working with this lovely healing energy. It also led me back to Reiki.

My massage has always been in the background and a number of short courses left me thirsting for more. Training in Holistic massage has been just amazing. Looking at the person as a whole within the massage and not just giving a basic spa massage is important to me. Helping a person on their journey is personally rewarding.

I am still learning, and love it.
